ANTI-ACNE NIGHT CREAM WITH LIPOSOMES

The cream with anti-acne extract closed in liposomes. Herbal extracts contained provide anti-acne effect and reduces excretion of sebum.  The cream is designed for oily skin prone to acne. Is stable in the refrigerator approx. 2 weeks.
The product can be preserved EAGGF - should be added to the finished cream from 5 to 10 drops of preservative. Stability preserved product - at least six months.

Components of the oil phase A (20%):
·      3% MGS 1.4 g
All components
·      2% cetyl alcohol 0.9 g
·      1% glycerol monostearate 0.5 g
·      3% macerate of St. John's wort 1.5 ml
·      11% organic linseed oil 5.4 ml

Aqueous phase components B (73%):
·      4% D-Panthenol 75% 1.5ml
·      5% urea 2.3 g
·      2% vitamin B3 0.9 g
·      2% glycerol 0.9 g
·      60% mint / sage hydrolate 27 ml

Phase C:
·      7% - anti-acne extract (liposomes) - 3.2 g
Accessories:
·      pharmaceutical pack of 50 ml
·      minimixer
·      50 ml glass beaker
·      100 ml glass beaker
·      glass rod

All stages have to be done according to the instruction step by step. I recommend adding Linseed to molten components of A phase, right before blending with B phase. C phase should be added after a cream coagulate and has a temperature about 40oC.

DESCRIPTION:

1.     Prepare water bath – pot with water on the cooker - and heat it up (2,3 cm of water in pot wide enough for two beakers).
2.     Put the components of A phase to the first beaker and then to the water bath.
3.     Put the components of B phase to the second beaker and then also to the water bath.
4.     Heat up both phases until all components melt. Do not overheat them. Get the beakers out from the water bath.
5.     While mixing intensively (best with minimixer) put A phase to the B phase.
6.     Mix it until cream cool and coagulate a bit. Then add C phase.
7.     Put cream to the pharmaceutical pack and keep in the fridge for about 2 week (without preservatives).
